Genevieve Stevenson is a photographic artist who sees the world through a very unique lens. Combining a passion for art, film and music her focus is on capturing the character and essence of the moment in a creative and natural way.
Born in London, and having lived in Paris she spent her time collaborating with actors, artists and musicians.
She has her short films, two exclusives for LOVE Magazine and has a film from the Vogue 100 at National Portrait Gallery on their site. Her Editorial film is on Vogue Italia, working with photographer Asia Werbel. Having just finished editing four behind the scenes films for fine art photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten's River Thames Projects.
Her work includes creative design for Chanel, Paul Smith, Brompton, and a continuing collaboration with the musician Eddi Reader that includes album covers and press photographs. Recently working with the band Lau for their new Album and their individual projects, Martin Greens new project 'Flit' and Kris Drever's solo work.
Her work has been published in many magazines and newspapers, she is regularly commissioned by the Guardian.
Her photography has been officially recognised and has been shortlisted for Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, and The Royal Photographic Society Exhibition. Her work having been included in many exhibitions including London Independent Photography, Brighton Photo Fringe, Portrait Salon. Her first solo Exhibition 2016 at The Farm Group Soho, William Blake building, London.
